THE ETHICS FOR MENTORING
Taija Townsend
The mentoring sessions are intended to assist you in shedding light on the way in which emotional, cognitive-behavioral, and spiritual factors influence the process of your educational, professional, or personal development. As the key building block to my work, I am open-minded, non-judgmental, and respectful towards your experiences and worldview, and engage with you through the conversations without imposing my own personal beliefs, opinions, or values. Everything discussed is confidential. It is essential to acknowledge that although the mentoring sessions may seem therapeutic, they are no substitute for psychological, psychiatric, or any other form of medical care. Therefore, should you decide to use any of the tools, exercises or frameworks, or act on any of the ideas, thoughts, or suggestions, made by Taija, you should do so at your own discretion, and turn to a competent professional for advice and guidance when necessary.
